THEME: POWER
Exploring potent, often invisible forces that shape us and our world.
Do Ho Suh
In these three works, Do Ho Suh explores three kinds of power: 1) the oppression of common people by the ruling class (Karma); 2) the power of collective solidarity (Public Figures Monument); 3) spirituality and the power of belief (Reflection). These pieces are among many of Do Ho Suh’s sculptures that address this theme. Along with their common theme, these works are also immensely powerful statements about power.
